托福独立写作能从很大程度上考察学生们的英语运用能力。由于要考生输出英语，从这些托福写作内容中可以看出考生对于词汇的掌握，而针对语法的熟练程度同时体现大家的英语思维。
第一、熟悉托福独立写作常考话题
托福独立写作要求考生利用30分时间写作出300词左右的文章。在托福独立写作中有十类常考的话题，以下是话题分类和相关题目举例。

6. 传媒类
Some people suggest that there should be restrictions on a detailed description of crimes in the newspapers and on television. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

第二、了解托福独立写作的常用写法--“五段论”
托福独立写作最经典的写法就是 “五段论”。五段论事实上是借助“总分总”结构来写。
英文逻辑下写作首段讲究开门见山，开头的最后一句话结束以前必须要有表达自己观点的句子出现。在具体的写作内容上建议首先用简洁明了的句子对原题目的意思进行同义替换，然后提出自己的观点。必须要保证开头其它的语法错误。
在正文的部分三段是要保证的。也就是三个分论点。这里注意一个原则：可以“一点多段”，但不可“一段多点”。也就是在一个论点写完前不要引入新的论点。如果结束了就换段保证一段的中心只有一个。若是针对一个点的论述很长能分成两段。在此建议大家有三个论点是因为一般情况下两个论点太少，必须要有足够的论述或是例子才能使文章字数达到要求，而四个论点又太多，没有足够的时间来充实每一个论点造成因为“论点发展不完全”扣分。
最后是起总结作用的结尾。建议写作时只要再次提到全文主观点，但决不能照抄开头表达立场的句子，而应该以不同的方式讲同一个话题。 |
