对雅思口语考试有所了解的同学都知道，雅思口语考试一共分3个part，虽然只有短短十几分钟，却占着和听力阅读写作相等的分数比例。除了担心自己发音不够清晰、表达不够流畅之外，不少同学还会担心自己在part 2讲不够2分钟
2分钟看起来很短，但按照一般人的说话速度，就算是卡壳的情况下，也基本上是200-250个单词左右的篇幅，并不是简单一两句话把话题卡里问题都答完就算了。经历过考试的同学可能会出现因为回答时间不够，只能和考官“大眼瞪小眼”，任凭考官给你眼神提示让你继续说下去，你也没什么可说的了。
就算你没有说够2分钟，起码也要说到1分半钟，才能基本展现你的口语表达能力。那么究竟怎样才能说够2分钟呢?
1、讲故事
讲故事无疑是个在任何话题都万能的办法。它不仅能让你的自述变得很生动，而且你会不自觉地说满这两分钟。这也是口语考试很重要的一点：keep the flow of your speech。
这里要指出的是请考生们不要用那些听了都让人耳朵起茧的故事，什么我是如何通过自己的努力考上心里中的重点高中或名牌大学。这些例子不够具体，自然不会打动考官。
2、举例子
这个方法尤其适合给抽象类话题拓展内容，让抽象话题具体化。
也给大家以本季口语题库中一道问题为例
Describe a kind of weather you like.
You should say:
What kind of weather it is
When this weather usually occurs
What you usually do during this weather
And explain why you like this weather
这个话题看似简单，但要将其说够2分钟真的不容易，毕竟按照话题卡问题回答完顶多4-5句话就可以结束了。
在这种情况你可以加上在这种天气你曾经做过的一件开心事，在这种天气一般会穿什么、吃什么、玩什么等等，让这个回答更加具体化。

Like most people, I like warm, sunny weather with clear blue skies. I love the kind of weather that we have in my region of China during the late spring. I enjoy wearing light dresses, sun hats, sunglasses and sandals. I feel really free when the weather is like this. It’s like a kind of liberation. You don’t have to worry about coats and scarves and warm boots and putting on multiple layers of clothing like you have to in the freezing winter months. In summer I enjoy eating outside on the balcony, sitting outside cafes in the sunshine having coffee and cakes and chatting to friends. I enjoy strolling in the local park. I like to cycle too, so sunny weather is ideal for this – though summer can be too hot, which is why late spring is the best time of year for this kind of weather, really. When I was a kid I really enjoyed spring because I loved playing outside with friends. We had a huge garden in our residential community and I had a lot of friends that played outside with me in that garden. I used to enjoy riding my bike then too, skateboarding and playing ball sports like tennis or football. Late spring is the perfect time of year in my opinion. I’d be really happy if the whole year could be like late spring.
上面这个回答中其实并没什么特别难的词汇，大家都能掌握。而且回答中加了很多关于自己在这个天气喜欢做的事情，甚至包括自己在小时候会做的一些活动。通过这种举例方式来拓展你的话题内容。
3、比较和对比
有时拿到一个话题真的内容穷了怎么办? 这时我们要借助“外力”，也就是拿别的事物、人和话题做比较和对比。
比如让你描述你日后想要从事的一个理想工作，你就可以拿现在的工作来对比，或是和其它工作进行对比，阐述这个工作的好处在哪里，以此来拓展说明。
最后想跟大家说的是如果你真的没办法拓展说，那就将你关于想说主题所有细节全部都说出来，包括自己的想法。有时候你还可以通过在表达中适当添加副词和形容词来拓展回答内容。 |
