和Accommodation相关的话题包括:《理想之家》/《你不喜欢但喜欢去的家》等;
和Public place相关的话题包括:《咖啡馆》/《公园》/《历史建筑》/《高楼》/《新建的休闲设施》等;
Describe a quiet place you like to spend your time in
You should say:
• Where it is • How often you go there • What you do there • And explain why you like the place
Describe a place you visited on vacation and would like to recommend to others
You should say:
• Where it is • When you went there • What you did • And explain why you would like to recommend it to others
Describe a town or city where you would like to live in the future
You should say:
• Where it is • How you know about it • What it is famous for • And explain why you would like to live three
鉴于我们本身就有有关于城市的话题,我会更加建议从“City”来思考“安静的地方”,比如:a small village/ a small town/ a seaside都会是不错的选择。
Example :
As it is hard to find a quiet place in the big city, I like to spend my time in a small village, in the south of Hangzhou, a bit far from my home and about two hours away by car. Even though it is off the beaten track 偏僻的, it is popular and many people go there for a long weekend.
当我们看到小问题以“how often”/“when”开头的时候,我们可以按“how you know (about)”类型问题来解答。
为此,我们完全可以从“the first time i heard about/ visited it was....”
Example :
The first time I heard about it was in my freshman year. One of my classmates is from this village. He shared a lot about his life growing up there and I was fascinated by its laid back 悠闲的 lifestyle and unpolluted environment.
I had always wanted to visit but could never find the time. But during the last summer holiday, I got the chance to go. My friend invited me and another three classmates to his home and we spent several days there.
《度假之地》中的第二个问题也是一样,针对第二小问“when you visited it”的回答直接开始于“the first time I heard about it was....”
基本上所有“what you do/did”对应的维度都是“Activity”,而Activity又可进一步拆分为“daily & holiday”两者。
在这道题里,你可以按“when/where/who/what/why/how often/ how much”来具体阐述。
Example :
While staying there, I had an unforgettable time, as I tried so many things that I couldn’t do in the city. I had my first attempt at farming. His grandfather had a small piece of land in front of the house, so I got up at the crack of dawn 早起 to learn how to grow plants.
Even though I was a novice 新手, his grandpa was very patient and he taught me, step by step until finally, I got the hang of 掌握...的技能 it. In addition, I also made many friends. Most of them were much older than me. but it didn't matter. They were so kind and friendly and shared many stories with me.
Example :
I love the place for its tranquility and serenity 安静. When I stay there, I don’t need to worry too much about money, work and life. I enjoy time on my own surrounded by nature and lovely people. I also get the opportunity to slow down instead of being rushed off my feet 忙碌. I hope to spend more time there in the future.
至于《度假之地》中的“why you want to recommend it to others”的理由也就等同于这道题目了。
