① John Locke写作竞赛每篇论文只能回答所选主题类别中的一个问题，并且不得超过2000字（不包括图表、数据表、尾注、参考书目或作者声明）。
② 您的pdf文件名必须采用以下格式：FirstName-LastName-Category-QuestionNumber.pdf；因此，例如，Alexander Popham会用以下文件名提交他对心理学类问题2的回答：Alexander-Popham-Psychology-2.pdf
★ 文件名不符合此格式的论文将被拒绝。
③ 考生不应添加脚注。然而，他们可能会添加尾注和/或书目，书目的标题应明确。
④ 每位候选人都需要提供熟悉其书面学术作品的学术裁判的电子邮件地址。如果可能的话，这应该是一名学校老师，或者是与候选人没有亲属关系的另一位负责任的成年人。约翰·洛克研究所将向裁判发送电子邮件，以核实提交的论文确实是候选人的原创作品。
⑤ 4月注册开始后，即可提交论文。
