英语口语好不等于托福口语能够拿高分,托福口语拿高分基本就代表口语好,两者关系很明显;但是只要是准备得当,即使口语水平一般,在考试中拿一个好的分数还是非常有可能的。反言之没有充分的备考和训练,平时口语还不错的同学也很难拿到一个自己期望的分数。
我们平时说话表达观点比较多,举例子、讲故事使用的还是比较少的,用英语讲故事就更困难了,多数同学没有这个表达的习惯。然而托福口语题目要求给出具体例子或细节的情况太普遍了。Task1&2几乎每道题都有这样的要求,在15s准备时间里“造”出一个合乎情理又有说服力的例子,时间紧迫的情况下需要有逻辑又流畅的表达出来,难度可见一斑。
托福口语常考的话题是可搜集的(从近2年的真题中便可得知),所以,如果能够提前准备好口语表达中常见的例子,考试中举例子这部分会说的很流利,一般口语中例子会占到很大的篇幅,例子准备好了对整体综合口语有直接的帮助。
口语段子、口语素材很重要.有的同学可能遇到过,每次考试都举例子,可是每次都是fair;有的同学反应2个点举两个例子说不完,例子需要说的太多了 。
ETS给出的备考材料里就给出了很好的例子,Task3里面有很好的举例论证供我们学习和参考,我们一起来看一下,ETS的文章是怎么论证自己的观点的。
