雅思写作有四项评分标准包括Task Response(写作任务回应情况)，Coherence &Cohesion(连贯与衔接)，Lexical Resource(词汇丰富度)以及Grammatical Range & Accuracy(语法多样性及准确性)。
其中想要使文章连贯与衔接更顺畅，大家应该都知道就需要尽量多使用连接词和短语，起到承上启下的作用，使整个文章逻辑通畅。
但是如果你要考虑到“词汇丰富度”这个层面的话，整篇文章只是反复使用最简单的连接词，比如“and”，“or”，或“but”这种，则会让考官觉得你词汇匮乏。这种情况下如果你能稍微替换一些表达，就能在保证文章连贯性的时候顺便展示自己词汇量。
当然一般在写雅思作文时可能没办法意识到这一点，大部分同学能在规定时间内将内容写完就很不错了。所以掌柜给大家的建议是，最好在结尾留5分钟时间通篇检查一下自己的文章，这一步也是很多7分以上同学会做的。这样不仅能避免自己出现单词拼写错误这种基础错误，也能顺便看看自己还有什么地方能够润色。这时候将一些出现频率较高的单词直接进行替换，就能提升整体词汇丰富度。
1、表示并列关系
在想要表达并列关系时，大部分同学可能只是简单使用 “and” 或 “also” ，这个不是不行，只是如果使用次数太多，就会显得你整个人也“平平无奇”。
除了上述表达，你还可以使用以下3种表达润色一下：

2、表示转折关系
在表达转折关系时大家最常用的应该就是 “but” ，稍微好一点的还会用“however”。除了这两种，大家还可以用下面这些表达进行替换：

Nevertheless

3、表示因果关系
当想要表示“所以”的时候最基本的表达是“So”。不过除了这个以外你还能用一下这些表达进行替换：
Hence
Consequently
Therefore
Accordingly
